Pink sparkles! I loved writing music on this Barbie film about a ballerina with magical pink ballet shoes. Adolphe Adam's ballet "Giselle" is the backdrop for this Barbie film and getting to blend original themes with the ballet's themes was a great experience. The score was often influenced by both classical ballet and contemporary musical elements.
