Hollywood Reporter Review - Traded

Bring on the banjos, guitars and whistling! This Western-style feature film starring Kris Kristofferson and Michael Parré allowed me to write in a style that I hadn't ever venture into before. A modern but truly Western film, I wrote for a lot of genre-specific instruments but kept a modern orchestral film score sound to it all.

I loved getting to work with director Timothy Woodward, Jr. on this film. I've truly never had a director trust my scoring sensibilities as brilliantly as he has. While giving thorough guidance on the direction of the film's story he has trusted my ability to tell this story through music in a way that I never have before. A composer's dream.
